That might be a quote from a fictional character, but I feel that was written for US.
Texans are…….well…..a little different, y’all.
This is my 2nd post about being a Texan. I already told you everything was bigger here, that might as well mean we are big enough to need at least two posts.
EVERYTHING bigger includes things like craziness and tempers and debates and opinions, it also includes general ways of doing things.
I have to tell you that I have never been prouder to be a Texan than I am right now, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
WHY, you ask?
Because THIS is how we are handling things:

We learned to work from our home
We learned to work from our porch
We learned that we now have to order toilet paper
We learned how to stock up on the essentials
Husbands learned new love languages for their wives
We learned how to use our wide open spaces
We remembered how to stick together
We tried to be inventive in this crisis
We stayed true to ourselves
I LOVE US.
Hope y’all are staying safe and healthy and SANE (as sane as any of us ever were) during this crazy time!
QUESTION: What are you/your family/your area doing just a little bit differently right now?
