My nickname from co-workers is ‘The Machine’, and the words used most often to describe me are free-spirited, independent, strong-willed, and fearless. I have also been told I am intimidating, but I don’t see it. I am up for a lot and will try anything once, but am usually also the level-headed one “minding the store” in times of chaos or crisis.
A social person with more friends and #framily than one person deserves, I love to really get to know people and their whys…..but if you’re dishonest, petty, narrow-minded, negative, rude, or even just a GREAT BIG BORING DRAG…..don’t go away mad, just go away! I’d rather not be bothered, and those types of people can turn me into ‘The Terminator’ really quickly, once I’ve been engaged.
Life has been (mostly) filled with good – music, food, travel, books, wild experiences and good times in general. I’ve been VERY happily taken by my husband since 1997, and we are blessed with unbelievably beautiful children of our own as well as many ‘bonuses’ that are extremely dear to our hearts.
My life has also had more than one person’s share of tragedies. You might hear about them here, since they helped shape me into who I am, but I will share my outlook on those with the following:
